In the series "Career Perspectives with a PhD in Natural and Life Sciences", doctoral graduates with a background in the natural or life sciences give an insight into their career from the doctorate to their current job.

Offers of Humboldt Graduate School

Humboldt Graduate School (HGS) has a well aligned programme for career develoment. 
HGS offers:

an annual Career Day
(About 20 mostly graduated professionals give insights into their career paths and fields, and give information on entry, hurdles, delights, opportunities and challenges of their working life.)

Career counselling
(In a first meeting with a specially-trained coach, your own career aims, wishes and opportunities will be discussed. Thereby, you will explore which offers of HGS, HU (Berufliche Weiterbildung, Career Service, Humboldt Innovation etc.) or beyond (offers of other universities, events of professional associations, fairs etc.) could be helpful for you.)
