Start Class Selection (Study Guides + AGNES), Fill out your SprachlitCC

In-Person Orientation Meeting

October 8, 2025:

 Deadline to register for classes on AGNES

October 13, 2025:

Start of Lecture Period

(October 13, 2025 will be "Dies Academicus" > no lectures on this day > lectures will start on October 14, 2025))

October 21, 2025:

 Upload your Final SprachLit Course Confirmation to HU Box (link will be provided via e-mail)

December 22, 2025 until January 3, 2026:

 Semester Break > no classes!

January 5 - January 20 2026:

 Exam Registration Period: Register online for exams on AGNES
February 14, 2025: End of Lecture Period
February 9 - February 28, 2026:

Exam Period (oral and written exams, Take-Home-Exams) 

(Deadline for submitting term papers: March 1st, 2026)
As soon as possible after end of semester:

Upload your signed SprachLitCC and your signed exam statement to HU Box to receive your Transcript (Deadline: March 1st, 2026);

Send us your Certificate of Departure to sign (Please fill out the form with all neccessary information, including start and end date.)

Register online (AGNES) for exams

  • Exam Registration Period: January 6 - January 21, 2025
February 15: End of Lecture Period
Approx. February 10-21:

Exam Period (oral and written exams, Take-Home-Exams) 

  • Exam Period: February 10 - March 1, 2025

(For term papers there might me individual deadline at a later date)

upload your signed SprachLitCC and your signed exam statement to HU Box to receive your Transcript (Deadline: 1. March 2025);

Please note that the general semester dates are meant as administrative dates and not the actual lecture period.

The lecture period is listed right below the general dates. During this time lectures, seminars and other teaching activities take place. After the lecture period, there is the examination period.

In summary, the general semester period is broader and includes all university activities, while the lecture period is the specific time dedicated to teaching and learning activities.

For Erasmus/mobility grants the lecture period is relevant.

There are three important documents of which you will fill out different versions during your mobility:

  • Certificate of Arrival/Departure
  • Erasmus+ (Online) Learning Agreement
  • SprachLit Course Confirmation
