- Understand what makes a negotiation successful in research environments.
- Prepare effectively for challenging conversations and collaborative agreements.
- Practise how to express your interests clearly while respecting others’ positions and constraints.
Content and Methods:
This workshop approaches negotiation with a foundation in Nonviolent Communication and the Harvard Concept. Through role plays and case simulations, you will practise negotiating for authorship, resources, workload distribution, or mentoring support. We’ll analyse examples and practise structuring proposals and making requests that increase your chances of mutual agreement and follow-through.
