What to Expect

This event offers you the perfect opportunity to discover Berlin from a whole new perspective. Together with other doctoral candidates, you’ll explore the city, discover interesting locations, and build valuable connections. The focus is entirely on interaction and networking among doctoral candidates.

Who Can Join?

All doctoral candidates from the Faculty of Life Sciences at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Department of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy at Freie Universität Berlin are invited.

• Easy Networking: In a relaxed atmosphere, you’ll have the chance to make new connections and strengthen existing ones.
• Shared Experience: Spend an inspiring evening with fellow doctoral candidates, exchanging ideas about your experiences and research.

When and Where?

The rallye will take place on October 9th, starting at 5 PM. The meeting point is near the Brandenburger Tor. More details will be provided via email after registration.

Registration for the PhD Rallye 2024

The rallye will only take place in good weather. If the event needs to be canceled, we will notify you via email in advance.

Accessibility

The event is open to all doctoral candidates from the Faculty of Life Sciences and the Department of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy. This, of course, includes doctoral candidates with disabilities and those with mobility impairments.

During the event, approximately 3 km will be covered on foot in the Berlin city center. If you need more details about the route in advance or have specific needs that would make it easier for you to participate, please write to graduiertenzentrum.lewi@hu-berlin.de.
