30.11.2023 Workshop "ORCID iD from 0 to 100 in 90 minutes"

Trainer: Marc Lange (University Library at HU Berlin)

Dates: 30.11. (2 - 3.30 p.m.)

Venue: Online

Target group: Doctoral candidates

Course language: Englisch

Description:

The ORCID iD is a numerical identifier for the unique identification of researchers and their scientific activities and achievements, which has now become established as a standard.
In the workshop you will get to know how to bring your ORCID iD to life, i.e. how to populate your ORCID record with information and data: how to enter your affiliation, how to import the list of your publications from other data sources (instead of having to enter them manually) and how you can have them updated automatically in the future, thereby improving the findability and visibility of your publications along the way. Following the principle 'enter once, reuse often', you will learn about an ORCID iD's benefits and how to use your ORCID iD. You can do all these steps in real time for your own ORCID iD during the workshop and ask questions, so that at the end of the workshop you ideally have a complete ORCID iD which you can use from then on.
