If there are two different versions of the study and examination regulations for your degree programme, you can decide, as part of the transitional regulations, whether you want to continue your studies pursuant to your current study and examination regulations or change to the new regulations. You have to submit a written application for this change to the examination office. This change becomes valid as soon as the application is received by the examination office and is irrevocable. The period of validity of the transitional regulations can be found in the new regulations under the paragraph "Transitional regulations". Please note that you will be automatically transferred to the new version of the regulations after the transitional period has elapsed.
