Withdrawing/deregistration from examinations
Regular withdrawal: Examination registrations can be withdrawn up to one week before an examination date or the start of a processing period without giving reasons. Deregistration from examinations must always be done online via AGNES. Please note the information provided by the AGNES Help Centre. If online deregistration does not work, please contact your responsible examination office immediately by email from your HU account.
Special withdrawal: If you do not appear for an exam date despite being registered and admitted, or if you exceed a processing period, you will fail the exam. This does not apply if you immediately declare your withdrawal from the exam and provide a credible reason for your withdrawal. In the event of illness, the reason must be verified by a medical certificate. The certificate must be based on an immediate consultation, usually on the day of the examination at the latest. The form “Application for withdrawal from examination’”can be found in our download area.
Please note that in the event of illness, a certified inability to take examinations must be provided (not an inability to work).
