Center for Career Development Adlershof
Combined under the umbrella of the Center for Career Development Adlershof, are the various program lines for career development of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin at the science hub in Adlershof. With its programs and centers, it addresses researchers at all career stages with the aim of providing advice, training and networking.
The Graduate Center Adlershof is aimed specifically for those interested in doctoral studies and the doctoral students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Commitments and offers of the Graduate Center consist of consulting, further education, networking and information services for the target group as well as quality assurance of the doctoral processes.
Through the PostDoc Center Adlershof, the faculty's postdocs are able to be identified as high potentials at an early stage, form close networks and gain qualifications for a further scientific career. The focus is on a counseling center for scientists and networking through a coaching and visiting scientist program, especially aimed at female postdocs.
The WINS Adlershof (Women in Natural Sciences) program is aimed specifically at the faculty's female PhD students and postdocs - with the goal of encouraging them to pursue a scientific career and supporting them on their path to leadership positions.
The modular qualification program with a focus on training, mentoring and events has the motto: Recognize potential, promote it and use it skillfully.
