How do I apply?
1. Requirements
- You need to be enrolled at a university.
- Your university needs to select you for the Erasmus Program.
- Most of the courses are taught in German. Therefor you need a B2 certificate or participate in a German intensive class (approx. 100 h) before the beginning of the semester.
- A few courses are taught in English. It depends on the individual course selection if you will find enough of those for your purposes.
2. A successful application at your home university
- Your university needs to nominate you online for an Erasmus stay at Humboldt-University.
- It is helpful to take a look at courses (also previous ones) in the online course catalogue (AGNES).

- Application period for Erasmus students:
- Winter semester: 1st of April – 31st of May
