English writing course – with Dr. Jeffrey Verhey (link to the program)

Co-organized with the Graduate Center Adlershof

In this two-day workshop, we will make the writing task a bit less daunting by introducing you to what you need to know to be able to write and publish a scientific paper in English.

Orange programming workshop on data processing (more details on the HZB-website)

with: - Ferenc Borondics, beamline manager at SOLEIL, France

         - Christophe Sandt, beamline scientist at SOLEIL, France

         - Marko Toplak, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia

Co-organized with HZB/BESSY II

This workshop will provide hands-on training on the Quasar software through tutorials based on IR spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging data, as well as other real-life spectroscopic data, including participants' own data.
