Peer coaching for postdocs
November 27th, 09:00-11:00
Trainer: Ulrike Schneeberg
This peer-coaching session is designed to help you strengthen your communication skills, deepen reflection, and practise tools for supportive dialogue—skills that are essential not only for future leadership roles, but also for mentoring, collaboration, and supervision in research environments.
This 2-hour session offers a structured and confidential space to:
- Practise active listening and powerful questioning techniques
- Explore your own challenges or goals with a peer’s support
- Learn how to hold space for others—without fixing or advising
- Develop greater clarity, empathy, and communication agility
You’ll work in rotating pairs using guided prompts and templates inspired by coaching practices—no prior experience required. Ulrike will support your learning with personal feedback and in-the-moment input, helping you stay on track of your coaching mode, go deeper, or shift perspective when needed.
