Supervisor meetings
Regular contact with the supervisors and, if needed, other experts, is important for successful completion of the doctoral studies.
At the beginning of the doctoral study period, doctoral candidates and supervisors draw up a supervision agreement in which, among other things, the frequency of regular meetings is established. Doctoral candidates and supervisors review the progress of the project at least once per semester on the basis of summaries, interim reports and individual chapters.
In addition, the supervisors commits to providing extensive oral and/or written feedback on the work submitted for the agreed meetings. As evidence of this as well as of the recommended next steps, supervision meeting minutes should be completed and signed by all parties involved.
