Expiration of subject-specific study and examination regulations
If subject-specific study and examination regulations become invalid, you will usually receive written notification of this by post at least one year before the date of expiry. It is therefore important that you keep your master data in AGNES up to date. Please note that you must have successfully completed all coursework and examinations (including the thesis and, if necessary, defence) before the last day the expiring regulations are valid (either 30 September for the summer semester or 31 March for the winter semester), i.e. the credits must be completed, evaluated and documented in the Examination Office. Failed coursework or examinations may not be reattempted once the relevant regulations have expired. If you have re-registered for the following semester and have not yet graduated, you will automatically be transferred to the subsequent regulations.
